Limited Warranty for Renewal by Andersen^® Products and Installation

For a complete written copy of this warranty, ask your HomeWorks/Renewal by Andersen representative. Your Renewal by Andersen (RBA) products are warranted under a fully transferable limited warranty covering parts, labor, and original installation services as follows:

Twenty-Year (20) Limited Warranty for Glass

The insulating glass in RBA window sash and door panels is warranted to be free from defects in manufacturing, materials, and workmanship for twenty (20) years from the original installation date.

If your RBA window-sash or door-panel glass is found to be defective, we may elect to either repair or replace the defective sash or door panel, at no cost to you.

Exclusively Through HomeWorks: Five-Year (5) Limited Warranty on RBA Installation

HomeWorks adds an additional three (3) years to the two-year (2) RBA Limited Warranty for installation for a total period of five (5) years coverage from the date of original installation. During this period, should your RBA window or door fail to perform according to our specifications due to improper original installation, we will bring the workmanship up to our professional standards at no cost to you.

Ten-Year (10) Limited Warranty for Components Other Than Glass

The frame and sash members of your RBA window are constructed of Fibrex™ material. All Fibrex material components of your RBA products are warranted not to flake, rust, blister, peel, crack, pit, corrode, or rot under normal use for ten (10) years from the original installation date.

The nonglass components of your RBA windows and doors are warranted to be free from defects in manufacturing, materials, and workmanship for a period of ten-years (10) from the original installation date. This includes, but may not be limited to, components such as locks, lifts, balance systems, hinges, handles, insect screens, and weather stripping. This excludes, however, locksets, closers, and sweeps on storm doors, which are warranted to be free from defects in manufacturing, materials, and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of original installation.

During the warranty period, we may elect to either repair or replace any defective RBA products or components for you at no cost.

Limited Warranty for HomeWorks Entry Door Systems

You may request a complete written copy of limited warranties from your HomeWorks representative for the following:

Wood Entry Doors

Trinity Glass International, Inc. offers a limited, five-year (5) nontransferable warranty that extends only to the original purchaser of the structure, or to the original purchaser of the structure into which such product is installed, from date of purchase. In the event of a defective product covered under this warranty, Trinity shall have the option to either repair the product or provide a replacement product of like kind and design.

Fiberglass Entry Doors

Masonite Exterior Door Products offers a Lifetime Limited Warranty for the original owner of the door (this warranty is not transferable). If a defect occurs, it will be Masonite’s option to furnish a door or refund the purchase price of the defective door. Masonite will in no event be liable for labor or finish coating.

Steel Entry Doors

Castlegate, Inc. warrants to the purchaser for twenty (20) years from date of purchase that the door will be free of defects in materials and workmanship. If a defect occurs, it will be Castlegate’s option to furnish a door or refund the purchase price of the defective door. Castlegate will in no event be liable for labor or finish painting.

Baldwin^® Handlesets and Locksets

Every Baldwin lock purchase with Lifetime Finish™ from Baldwin is protected by a lifetime limited mechanical warranty for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the product.

Schlage^® Residential Locks

All Schlage residential products are backed by a lifetime mechanical warranty. Schlage offers an Ultima™ Anti-Tarnish Lifetime Finish, Artisan Lifetime Finish (original user), and a Ten-Year (10) Durable Finish for their residential locks.
